I am very happy that I won a commended award for the National Children Art Contest : Lotus the National Flower 2015 conducted by Artinfoindia.com, Gurgaon.
Received the Medal and a beautiful certificate from Artinfoindia.com. I started participating in this contest from the first edition itself. This is the 4th edition of the contest.
The first and second editions were titled “Titlee – The Butterfly”. I couldn’t win any award in the first time. In the second edition, won Merit award and painting was exhibited at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Third edition was titled “Peacock – The National Bird” and in this edition too, my painting was selected for the Merit Award. And finally, this 4th edition Lotus – the National Flower, gave me the commended award and this is the first time I manage to win a medal in this prestigious contest. The competition received thousands of entries from all over India. And I am happy that my painting was exhibited in October 2015 at the National Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
I am looking forward to the 5th edition – Tiger : The National Animal, scheduled for 2016.
