I had a great opportunity to perform at my dance school’s (Smt. Sheela Unnikrishnan’s Sridevi Nrithyalaya) 29th Anniversary Celebrations at Vani Mahal yesterday evening (October 22, 2016). Performed KavadiChindu along with my friends Srujana, Srinidhi, Mohana, Giridarshini and Vasundara. This is my first performance after I joined Sridevi Nrithyalaya one year back.
It was a great program, with Juniors and Alumni of SDN performing. The second day performance will happen on Oct 23 at Vani Mahal, which will have the premiere of this years SDN production ‘BRAHMASMI’. 23 Senior Students of Sridevi Nrithyalaya will perform today. Waiting to watch the wonderful performance of all Akkas.
I am feeling very happy and proud that I joined this great institution for my Bharathanatyam training. Hoping to perform more and more.
