Lattu or Wooden Spinning Top is one of the traditional toys of India. This is a very simple toy known by the name ‘Bambram’ in Tamil and ‘Bongaralu’ in Telgu. This toy is popular all over India. It lost some of its sheen with the introduction of new modern toys, but still can be seen around and is used as a decorative item.
In this painting, I painted the top as the main object along with other traditional toys in the background.
