I was very happy getting selected to represent Tamilnadu in the National Level painting competition 2018 in November. Took a lot of efforts to prepare a picture and present at the national level.
It was really nice being in New Delhi on a cold winter morning on Dec 11, 2018. We were taken to our accommodation in Gurgaon. We had our competition on Dec 12, 2018.
The result part was really disappointing for Tamilnadu team though. Was upset that we couldn’t win any prizes even after presenting good pictures. All part of the game. Had to move on..
Had a nice trip to various spots in Delhi like Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate and Akshardham. Later we went to the Vigyan Bhawan for the Energy Conservation Awards and Painting Competition Award distribution function on Dec 14. Honorable Speaker of the Lok Sabha Smt. Sumitra Mahajan was the Chief Guest of the function.
