Feeling very very sad. Former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam passed away. India lost a real Bharat Ratna. An inspiration to a lot of youngsters and students of this country, a man who made us dream.
I am very lucky that I had a personal meeting with him, just 4 months back, in February 2015, at his residence in New Delhi. He welcomed us to his office at 10.30 pm in the night after a long day. And we were really surprised.. He was cheerful and talked to each one of us and asked us what we are doing.
Also gifted him with a copy of my painting. He gave me an autograph on my original painting. Surely it is a treasure for me.
