XIth International Art and Graphics Contest “In My Homeland” 2016 was organized by Green Cross Belarus. I sent a picture for the topic : My Homeland 100 years ago. It is a Kerala temple fetsival scene over hundred years ago. Caparisoned Elephants and men near the temple and women with ‘Olakkuda'(a traditional palm leaf umbrella used in Kerala during those times), watching the festival. As this was an international contest, I really wanted to make a painting which will depict a scene from 100 years old Kerala and thought of this one. Used Acrylic Paints to do this painting. I received a Thank You Letter from Green Cross Belarus for my participation in this edition. And I do hope to participate in the next edition too.
