After many years of trying, I got selected for the National Level Competition of the much sought after BEE National Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2018 to be held in the national capital New Delhi on Dec 12, 2018. I had won third prize in category B of the Tamilnadu State Level competition in November 2018 and that was the first time Category B winners were also sent to New Delhi for the National Finals. It was a sweet surprise for me as I thought I will never be able to experience this competition at the national level (only Category A winners were sent in person to National Level till 2017).
The theme for the national level was “Let us rise and have passion, Save Energy for self and Nation”. So this is the painting I prepared with the help of my Art teacher Shri. C.Kannan Sir. Though I couldn’t win this competition at National Level, it was a very good experience to be in New Delhi for a big competition.
Done in Acrylic Paint on half chart paper.
