A unique form of Lord Narasimha at Ahobilam- Chathravatha Narasimha Swamy. This form of the Lord is seen smiling widely and enjoying the music by two gandharvas, Haahaa and Hoohoo, who came down from the Meru moutain to cool down the Lord’s anger after killing the asura Hiranyakashipu. His left hand is in the tala mudra (putting thaalam maybe?) and on the right He keeps the Abhaya hasta. The Shanku and Chakram are on His upper two arms as usual.
