My Bharathanatyam Dance School – Smt. Sheela Unnikrishnan’s ‘Sridevi Nrithyalaya’ – presents its annual dance festival “Satyam Sivam Sundaram” from February 1 to 5, 2017 at Mylapore Kapaleeswarar Temple. This is the 8th edition of the festival with many renowned dancers and groups participating in the five day long festival.
Smt. Bragha Bessel will light the ‘Kuthuvilakku’ and inaugurate the festival at 5.20 pm on Feb 1, 2017.
This year, SSS will have performances by Kum. Archana Raja (Disciple of Smt. Sheela Unnikrishnan), Kathak by Jathiswaraalaya Academy of Kathak Bharathanatyam, Bharathanatyam Solo by Smt. Divyasena, “HARA” Group Presentation byPunyah Dance Company, Bharathanatyam Solo by Nikita Gopalakriahnan Dis. of Smt. Saikripa Prasanna , Kuchupudi group presentation by “Shivamohanam”, Bharathanatyam Solo by Kum. Poornima Kaushik, Bharathanatyam Group presentation by Sri. K P Rakesh & Team, Odissio by Sri. Lucky Mohanty, Kum. Purnashre Raut, Kum. Ankita Raut and as the grand finale “SIVAMAYAM” – Dance Drama by Sridevi Nrithyalaya.
