Fancy Fete was held in my school, The Schram Academy, Maduravoyal, on March 8, 2014. It is an event organized to help an orphanage near Chennai. Various Stalls were put up by students of the school and visitors can buy things using the coupon purchased at the entrance.
There were stalls for food, games, books and other entertainment. People visited in large numbers.
In my class, there were stalls for food items like cakes, channa masala, Kerala banana fry, Jackfruit Adai, jewellery and hair accessories using quilling, games like chess etc.
My mother made Kerala banana fry and Jackfruit Adai, which I sold at the Fancy fete. It was a real nice experience.
We learned how to sell things and conduct an event through this programme. Also we could help the needy people with the money we collected through the Fancy fete.
